Ali Baba’s aim was to connect with a new European audience to promote Singles Day, the world’s highest grossing ecommerce shopping holiday.

Ali Baba wanted a dynamic, digitally exciting advert, cemented in London’s East End culture.

Bean, working collaboratively with film agency UNIT 9, produced a hand painted piece of street art that would act as a backdrop to the video advert. UNIT 9’s in house team would then make this artwork into a digitally exciting augmented reality.

The result of the campaign was a 48ft hand painted advert in the heart of East London and a beautifully curated video, which received 18,000 views in its first month.
